In Owls, we have started exploring the rainforest and in history we have been learning all about the ancient Maya and how they survived. Our book this half-term is Where the Forest Meets the Sea. Did you know that the Maya believed that chocolate was a gift from the gods?

The Woodpeckers have been learning about the Wright brothers and the first plane flight. The Woodpeckers have been enjoying finding out about planes and how they are built.

In Robins, they have been learning all about China. Mrs Kalnins states that they have really been enjoying it, and they have been eager to learn. Fun Fact! Did you know that China has the largest population in the world with about 1.4 billion people?
